Clarke McKay

Clarke McKay is a family-owned commercial plumbing business that had been operating with the original logo designs from when the company was founded. Recognising they wanted a greater marketing presence they sought to create a contemporary brand that reflected the size, scale and professionalism of the business as it stands today. Further, Clarke McKay’s visual presence needed to be strong on hoarding, vehicles and on other forms of communications.

To ensure the brand was a standout, simple dominant elements such as a strong font, single bright blue palette and a strong visual device was created using the patterns in plumbing drains as inspiration.
